The Welpe Theatre is the site of most of RVCC's
theatrical and dance classes, as well as many of the events presented by the Fine and
Performing Arts Department. Since 1985, this flexible space has also been host to jazz
cabaret's, new theatre productions, meetings, meals and other functions.
The Welpe Theatre is named for Dennis J. Welpe, II.
In 1984, Mr. & Mrs. Dennis J. Welpe, made a generous contribution toward the
construction of the theatre complex, in memory of their son.
