MIKE AIKEN Aiken’s love for singing, songwriting and sailing has taken him all over the world. As a songwriter he puts pen to paper and shares his colored and colorful life. As an artist who comes by his stories honestly, Aiken has definitely taken his place among well-respected songwriters and musicians in the Americana and Country communities. Captains & Cowboys, Aiken’s sixth studio album, earned him critical acclaim from the media and his peers including a first-round Grammy nomination. You can find him performing live anywhere from outdoor festivals to intimate acoustic sessions as well as hosting workshops for aspiring songwriters and sailors alike.
Paul Jefferson PAUL JEFFERSON As a songwriter, Jefferson has had his songs recorded by Keith UrbanLittle Texas and Buddy Jewell, among others. He also co-wrote Aaron Tippin's Number One song "That's as Close as I'll Get to Loving You." Most recently he and Mike Aiken have co-written songs that will be on Mike’s forthcoming CD. Originally from San Francisco Bay Area, Paul has lived in Nashville for 22 years. Additional writer credits include; Porter Howell, Sonny LeMaire, Wyatt Easterling, Jon Bon Jovi, Mark Hudson. Ken Tizzard KEN TIZZARD Very few Canadian musicians have had as fascinatingly diverse a career as Ken Tizzard. In over two decades as a professional musician, he has gone from plying his trade as the charismatic bassist in top Canadian rock bands The Watchmen and Thornley (he is featured on six gold and platinum records received numerous Juno nominations and Much Music Awards, and licensed songs to such TV shows as CSI and Fashion Television) to then emerging as an eloquent roots-based singer/songwriter and guitarist with a prolific solo career.
